Indian benchmarks continued to trade in positive terrain during the noon trading session amid mixed global cues. In the broader markets, the Nifty Midcap 100 was lower by 0.11 per cent, and the Nifty Smallcap 100 was behind by 0.85 per cent.
Meanwhile, Indian rupee has extended the gains as it is trading 22 paise higher at 85.03 per dollar against Tuesday's previous close of 85.25.
Among key shares, shares of Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv are currently trading significantly lower in Wednesday's intraday session on the BSE, falling by up to 7 per cent and 6 per cent respectively. BPCL gained 2 percent and HPCL rose 1.3 percent as oil headed for its worst-ever April on demand concerns.
At 12:34 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80382.14 up by 93.76 points or by 0.12 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24349.7 up by 13.75 points or by 0.06 %.
The BSE Sensex touched intraday high of 80478.73 and intraday low of 80055.87 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24395.2 and intraday low of 24268.80.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 1947.10,-5.71%), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 8612.40,-5.25%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 644.25,-3.21%), State Bank of India (Rs. 790.70,-2.59%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 11714.80,-1.28%), among others.
